Your First Visit

Your first visit with Dr. Melina Roberts is a private consultation. During this time your main health concerns, health history and medical records are carefully discussed and reviewed. During this visit a general physical exam and specialized testing using electrodermal screening will be conducted to make an evaluation and diagnosis. Further tests such as laboratory tests and/or specialized diagnostic tests may be necessary to complete the assessment. This is an opportunity to get to know your practitioner and begin the process of setting up a program that will best serve your particular health needs.

After a naturopathic diagnosis is made and a customized care plan is established, your practitioner will explain what is happening in the body and what is needed to correct the imbalance. The information will then be used to design a program with the individual using lifestyle and supplements to achieve the desired results. Your practitioner will explain what remedies you will need, how often you will need to take them and how often you will need to come for treatment.

The initial consultation is 1 hour in length and ensures that you receive a complete and thorough assessment of your current state of health. It is important that you fill out a Patient Intake Form before the first visit. Please arrive 30 minutes ahead of time if you have not filled in the forms beforehand (forms can be downloaded from this website).

You are welcome to bring a support person with you as we recognize the important role that they will have in your treatment.
