Naturopathic Therapies

Clinical Nutrition

Clinical Nutrition examines the relationship between diet and health. This therapy will analyze and maximize the patient’s diet for proper bioavailability and utilization for optimal health. Specific diets may be recommended and treatments may include nutritional supplements such as vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other nutraceuticals.

Homeopathic Medicine

Homeopathy is the use of minute amounts of natural substances to stimulate the body’s self-healing abilities. This is a very safe and gentle therapy.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

This medicine has existed for over 5000 years. The theory behind this medicine is to balance the energy in the body. All diseases are a result of an imbalance. A correction of this imbalance will eliminate the root cause of the disease.

Botanical Medicine

This therapy involves the use of plant substances from around the world for their healing effects and nutritional value.

Lifestyle Counseling

Investigating how physical, mental and emotional factors affect health is fundamental. Patient education helps them to become better equipped at managing their own physical and emotional health and allows patients to participate more in their own health care.

Biotherapeutic Drainage

Biotherapeutic drainage is a philosophy and methodology of healing which has been practiced in Europe for more than 100 years. This is a wonderful, gentle but very deep acting modality of healing.

The natural routes of elimination may not be active and functioning at all times leading to an unnatural accumulation of toxins. These toxins in the body may be considered to be the cause of many different symptoms and diseases. Your present health concerns may be a result of toxic accumulations in your tissues. The accumulation of toxins can be a factor in acute and chronic illness, genetic weaknesses, and chronic disease, creating blockages to therapeutic treatment.

Drainage is the process of detoxifying the body by opening the routes of elimination and discharging the toxic accumulations. Drainage is involved not only in helping to eliminate toxic accumulation but also serves to stimulate the proper function of organs in order to improve the patient's overall health.

Drainage is essential in order to help restore your body and vitality to what you want it to be. That is why during the beginning treatments you receive at our office drainage remedies will often be used to start the process of cleansing and clearing your tissues of toxic accumulations which will help you on your path to a higher level of health.

Intravenous Therapy

Administering vitamins, minerals and homeopathics directly into the body allows for a rapid therapeutic effect. These nutrients supply the body with potent antioxidants, they will bind and remove toxins and heavy metals from the tissues and set up a healing environment within the body.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy originated in France in the 1950s and has now spread around the world. It is the practice of injecting small amounts of nutrients, vitamins and homeopathics into the skin to bring about healing properties to the treated areas. People from all age groups can have this procedure done. There are very few contraindications to having this done. Mesotherapy is used to treat a wide variety of conditions including acute and chronic pain, scar therapy, bone and joint disorders and skin disorders.

Matrix RepatterningTM

Matrix RepatterningTM is a process of detecting and releasing significant tension patterns within the tissues of the body. These patterns are created primarily by forceful injuries to our body structure, or from scar tissue resulting from surgery or injury.

Visceral Manipulation

In order for our body’s to function optimally, all of our vital organs need to be able to move. Visceral Manipulation is a gentle manual therapy that works through the visceral or internal organ systems to locate and release restrictions and unhealthy compensations that lead to pain and dysfunction. This therapy allows us to identify and treat organ dysfunction and set up a process that enables the body to heal itself.
